The mnemonics for
anti-arrythmic drugs is “Saved By Pharma Class” where each 1st letter
of the word represents the class of the drugs that is used.
Class I Sodium Channel Blocker
Class II Beta Blockers
Class III Potassium Channel Blockers
Class IV Calcium Channel Blockers
Unclassified Adenosine and Magnesium
Amiodarone is most effective. It is used for any type of arrhythmia.
Adenosine is DOC for PSVTS and AV nodal arrhythmias.
Magnesium is used for Torsades.
