The mnemonic for TB drugs is RIPE , where each letter stands for the initials of the drugs being used.

·       Rifampin = Hepatotoxicity, Hepatitis (not dose related), Flu-like syndrome.

·       Isoniazid = Hepatotoxicity, Hepatitis (not dose related), Peripheral neuropathy, GI intolerance.

·       Pyrazinamide = Hepatotoxicity, Hepatitis (dose related), Hyperuricemia.

Ethambutol = Optic neuritis, Rash.
